Approaching a Post Pandemic Environment at Salon Blo

OUR CAUTIOUS APPROACH
TO CONFIDENTLY RESTORING
A PRE - PANDEMIC ENVIRONMENT

To All Salonblo
Guests and Community:

It’s been two years to the day that we announced our first Covid-19 lockdown.  The past few years have been extremely challenging for our business and many lives have been impacted due to Covid-19.  The silver lining is that we have learned how to live amidst this pandemic and manage our business without any outbreaks thanks to our staff, guests, and community’s strict adherence to Covid protocols when visiting the salon.  Our number one job was to keep everyone safe by implementing enhanced sanitation procedures and Public Health recommendations/protocols for our industry to protect against the spread of Covid-19.

Therefore, in keeping with our  commitment to operate a Covid-19 free environment during the ROADMAP EXIT STEP OF REOPENING whereby the government has announced that most masking mandates, as well as requirements around passive screening and COVID-19 safety plans, end on March 21, 2022, the Reopening Ontario Act will expire on March 28, 2022 and all remaining measures, directives and orders will end on April 27, 2022; Salonblo has decided to  cautiously and gradually ease in the revoked public health measures such as:
  • Physical distancing between guests will remain in place
  • Requirements for masks, passive screening signage and COVID-19 safety plans will also remain in place. All staff will continue to wear masks, the appropriate PPE and continue with the highest level of sanitation as well as other Covid-19 safety measures that you have become accustomed to over the last 2 years.
  • We would greatly appreciate all our guests to wear a mask given the close contact between you and your stylist/color technician.
  • We also require you to confirm that you are well by answering the screening questions before confirming your appointment as you have done since the start of this pandemic.
Ultimately, our current health and safety prevention practises are focused on providing you and our staff with a safe, Covid-19 Free Environment where you can feel secure while enjoying your guest experience.

With this cautious approach, together we can look forward to a point where we can confidently restore as close to a pre-pandemic environment, as soon as possible at Salonblo.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
Sincerely,

Mary Arangio
